Position Description

QCi is seeking a Management Associate to work at its Tempe, AZ location.  This role is crucial and will support our manufacturing team in Tempe, AZ.  The right individual will poses an open mindset to work, and enjoy assisting in a multitude of tasks to keep our operation running efficiently and effectively.  Ideally some experience in office management, shipping and receiving, or a combination of the two is ideal, but not required.  This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization operating on the leading edge of technology and make a meaningful contribution to the success of the Tempe manufacturing team.

Duties and Responsibilities


Office Management, including but not limited to

  • Coordinating Tempe site visits for customers, vendors, candidates, managing access control, etc..
  • Working with counterparts in Hoboken, NJ to maintain a consistent work environment.
  • Managing office supplies, kitchen supplies, coordinating with janitorial and clean room vendors to maintain a well-resourced/clean       environment.
  • Coordinating on-boarding on new employees at the Tempe, AZ site.
  • Assist in planning company outings and community development activities.
  • Manage timekeeping and scheduling for the Tempe, AZ team.


Shipping and Receiving / Finance

  • Tracking receipts, PO’s, inbound and outbound orders, communicating with vendors and suppliers, and sharing that information            with the finance team.
  • Working with purchasing and shipping managers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Being the main point of contact between the finance team and manufacturing team

Required Skills and Experience


  • A Bachelors degree or high school diploma/GED
  • Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand tools to package shipments
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in generating documentation
  • Excellent organization skills
  • An open mind to a multitude of tasks
  • Expert communication skills
  • Must possess empathy and be a team player
  • Interest in technology/quantum computing


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping or receiving or office management
  • Experience coordinating with finance/accounting teams
